Birth flowers by month
5 min read ยท Petal Charms

A birth flower is a small, personal way to mark a month. Every month has its own bloom, and many people like to wear theirs close.
Here is the list we use, one flower for every month, with a quiet note on each. You will find the same list in our charm guide.
January to April
January is the carnation, a ruffled flower that comes in many colors. February is the violet, small and low to the ground. March is the daffodil, the bright trumpet that arrives with spring. April is the daisy, plain and cheerful.
Each of these flowers has a gentle, simple look that suits a tiny charm.
May to August
May is the lily of the valley, a stem of little bells. June is the rose, the one nearly everyone knows. July is the larkspur, tall and blue-purple. August is the gladiolus, a spike of blooms that open from the bottom up.
Pick the month that matches the person, and check the product page to see the flower shown on the charm.
September to December
September is the aster, a star-shaped daisy. October is the marigold, warm and golden. November is the chrysanthemum, full and layered. December is the narcissus, a small white bloom with a bright center.
Choose from our birth flower charms, or wear your bloom on the birth flower name necklace. The Birth Flower Charm is a pair of tiny charms, about 0.6 in across, in the flower of your month, a sweet add-on for a chain or bracelet.

Questions and answers
Do all birth flower lists match?
Not always. Some lists name a second flower for a month. We use the list in our charm guide.
Can I wear a flower from another month?
Of course. Plenty of people choose a flower for a loved one or just because they like it.
